What Makes a "Best Place to Work"?

One of our firm goals for 2017 is to be recognized as a "Best Place to Work." It's actually one of the key reasons we've been in business for more than 35 years.

We offer unique and progressive benefits that have been shaped by our own employees. This includes things like open vacation time, work from home flexibility and on-site perks like a fridge fully stocked with beverages, unlimited K-cups and ample free parking.

Yet we haven't gotten the recognition we should. Perhaps it's our size - we are small (but mighty). Or maybe it's because we've spent our time sharing the work that reflects our rightful focus on clients and the results we get for them - not promoting ourselves.

Above all, we're blessed to have an amazing team made up of people who really, truly care about each other. And before you think I've gone soft, Fortune magazine recently reported on a new study that shows just how important this attribute is - and that it even positively impacts the bottom line. That's another reason why we just completed our best year ever as a firm.

Think about it - you spend more time with the people at work than you do with anyone else. Don't you want to work with a team of people who absolutely rock?

(By the way, if you're a high-performing account manager who lives for strategic communication, and you answered yes to that last question - call me!)
