At FrazierHeiby, people come first — whether it’s our clients, partners or community. One of our core values is to help those who need it. This stems from our team’s willingness to serve others, both at work and in their spare time.
Despite all the uncertainty that 2020 has brought us, we made it a priority to find new ways to contribute to Central Ohio. This spring, we surveyed our team to learn more about what causes matter to them.
Based on the results, it became apparent that our team members have big hearts with interest in a variety of issues ranging from mental health to homelessness. Armed with this information, we set out to find local organizations we could support through employee volunteerism and discounted and pro-bono services.
In addition to our existing benefit granting employees time away from the office to volunteer, we rolled out additional opportunities for agency-sponsored community involvement throughout the year in support of organizations that support the causes that matter most to our staff.
To combine our team’s passion for service and our expertise in marketing and communication, we’ve also partnered with a local nonprofit, Seeds of Caring, through the end of 2021. Serving ages two to 12, Seeds of Caring empowers children to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands and minds. Program participants are able to take part in engaging, community-focused activities that provide valuable lessons and actionable steps on social issues affecting every single one of us. Director Brandy Jemczura founded the organization in 2016 and, within those four short years, Columbus youth have already provided 6,244 service hours to their communities. Together, we will amplify the organization’s mission and drive meaningful change in Central Ohio.
