It’s been a challenging 12 months but Covid can’t keep us down. The FrazierHeiby team continues to grow with two new hires: Jamaal Bell joined the agency as director of strategic communication in late January and Chelsea Schmitz was named director of integrated marketing in early February.
Jamaal is an award-winning and results-focused strategic communications leader who has worked extensively in client-facing positions for human services, higher education, for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Before coming to FrazierHeiby, Jamaal was the creative manager at COTA, associate managing director of marketing and communications at Alvis, and director of communications at the Kirwan Institute at The Ohio State University. He is a U.S. Navy veteran and has volunteered on the Catholic Social Services Board, United Way Key Club Steering Committee, and the Women's Fund of Central Ohio Research Committee. Jamaal is currently serving on the PRSA Central Ohio Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Jamaal earned his master’s degree in communication management at the University of Southern California and his bachelor’s degree in Public Relations at Ball State University.
Chelsea brings a change agent mindset to her work. With a customer-first focus, she enjoys creating compelling content and building messaging that aligns across all mar/comm channels. Prior to joining the team, Chelsea spent nearly six years leading digital marketing and communications strategy in higher education with an emphasis on increasing academic program enrollment and stewardship efforts. Her expertise spans website management, paid and organic social media strategy, inbound marketing, email marketing and storytelling. She prides herself on being persistent in driving the best results for her clients. Chelsea is eager to return to her roots as she started her career at FrazierHeiby. She could not stay away from the fast-paced, creative environment that agency life provides.
Join us in welcoming Jamaal and Chelsea to the FrazierHeiby team!
