COLUMBUS, Ohio - Local public relations firm FrazierHeiby today announced the expansion of its team with the addition of Whitney Somerville to its client services staff.
As an account executive, Somerville will manage several client accounts and develop communication strategy.
"We couldn't be more excited to have Whitney join our team," said Bryan Haviland, FrazierHeiby president. "We know her depth of experience in media relations, multimedia and crisis communications will be invaluable to our clients."
Prior to joining the company, Somerville worked at the American Red Cross for five years, most recently as communications & marketing director for the Ohio Buckeye and Alabama regions. She is a volunteer member of the Advanced Public Affairs Team for the Red Cross, trained to deploy and provide public relations support in times of disaster. Somerville earned her Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism in 2008 and Master of Arts in Journalism & Public Relations from Marshall University in 2010.
