Meet Our New Account Associate, Addie!

Meet Addie, our newest staff member joining the team as an account associate.

We’re thrilled to have Addie Quinlan join our Slide Nine team as an account associate. With two years of experience in the agency world, Addie supports integrated PR, social, and influencer efforts and brings a people-first mindset to crafting meaningful brand stories.

What brings you joy at work? What inspires you?

What brings me the most joy at work is watching an idea go from a quick brainstorm to something real that actually makes an impact. Whether it’s a pitch landing, an influencer campaign coming together, or a client getting genuinely excited about the direction we’re heading, that forward momentum is what motivates me. I’m inspired by collaboration and working with people who are curious, thoughtful, and excited to build great work together. That constant evolution is what makes PR so exciting to me and keeps the work feeling fresh and energizing.

What drew you to the communications field?

I graduated from Capital University, where I fell in love with public relations and the power of storytelling. I was drawn to the idea that communication isn’t just about sharing information, but about shaping perception, building trust, and creating real connection. PR felt like the perfect blend of creativity and strategy, where you get to think critically, write with intention, and help brands show up in ways that feel authentic and human.

What makes the field even more exciting, especially for my generation, is how social media has become such an integral part of PR. The ability to combine traditional storytelling with real-time engagement, creator partnerships, and digital-first content has completely changed how brands communicate. Being able to work at the intersection of PR and social allows for more creativity, immediacy, and impact, and that evolution is a big part of what continues to excite me about this career path.

‍How do you approach creating a memorable client experience?

I focus on being proactive, organized, and genuinely invested in a client’s goals, while also working closely with my team to deliver the best possible experience. I try to anticipate needs, communicate clearly, and make the process feel seamless rather than stressful for everyone involved. To me, a memorable client experience comes from consistency, trust, and strong collaboration behind the scenes. When clients know they can rely on the team as a whole, feel heard, and feel supported, the partnership becomes stronger and the work becomes better.

‍What trends are you keeping an eye on for 2026?

Looking ahead to 2026, I’m keeping a close eye on how influencer and UGC strategies continue to shift toward more authentic, long-term creator partnerships. It appears that brands are moving away from one-off posts and vanity metrics in favor of deeper relationships with creators who bring real credibility and authority within their niche.

I’m also interested in how AI is being thoughtfully integrated into content creation, discovery, and performance tracking to support creativity rather than replace it. From my perspective, social commerce, co-created UGC, and micro-influencers will keep gaining momentum, particularly within spaces like AI and tech, wellness, and sustainability. Overall, the shift toward measurable performance and treating creators as true professional partners is something I’m excited to watch evolve!

‍What's the biggest win or most exciting work you’ve done throughout your career?

Some of my biggest wins have come from connecting clients with partnerships that truly make sense and feel authentic on both sides. When I have the opportunity to align a brand with a community-focused initiative, nonprofit, or cause, it always feels like a success in my book, especially when the partnership reflects shared values rather than a one-off moment.

Being able to see real social impact, whether it’s supporting local organizations, fostering meaningful community relationships, or helping a brand show up in a way that feels genuine and intentional, is incredibly rewarding. Those moments are the kind of work I’ll always remember and continue to be motivated by throughout my career.

What tools/websites do you use to keep up with the latest trends and news?

I stay informed through a mix of industry newsletters, LinkedIn, and media outlets, but I also spend a lot of time scrolling (in a productive way). Platforms like Instagram and TikTok are where I spot emerging trends, new creator formats, and shifts in how audiences are actually engaging with content. Staying plugged into both industry news and real-time social behavior helps me stay well-rounded and forward-thinking.

‍What are you listening to while focusing on getting work done?

Taylor Swift is usually my go-to when I need to lock in and get work done. I do like to switch it up, though, so I’m also a big fan of coffeehouse-style playlists, especially ones that feature artists like Noah Kahan, Lizzy McAlpine, Phoebe Bridgers, or Hozier. It’s the kind of music that keeps me focused while still making the workday feel enjoyable!

What are you most looking forward to in your role with Slide Nine?

I’m most looking forward to learning from my peers and mentors and being part of a team that has truly accumulated some of the best talent in the industry. Slide Nine is a place where collaboration and growth are clearly valued, and I’m excited to both bring what I know to the table and continue learning from those around me. Being able to contribute creatively while soaking in the expertise, perspective, and mentorship of the team is something I’m really looking forward to.
