Get to Know Trisha

‍

1. Describe yourself in nine words.

Curious. Resourceful. Playful. Reflective. Open. Unserious. Adventurous. Inventive. Grateful.

‍

2. What are you proudest of accomplishing in the past quarter?

Agency life is a team sport, so all of my proudest moments were shared wins. And we had many such accomplishments to choose from! More than any single result, though, I’m proudest of what we built together to make those successes possible and repeatable. By Q2, I already felt like I’d been at Slide Nine for far longer than a few months, and I’m grateful for how quickly I was able to settle in and genuinely contribute to the team.

‍

3. What challenges at work inspire you the most?

I love untangling a good knot. Whether it's figuring out the right messaging or positioning to make a story angle work, or developing a better system or figuring out the actual challenge behind what everyone believes is the challenge. As long as I have runway and capacity to dig in and bring solutions, I find those complex challenges energizing.

‍

4. What do you do to relax and recharge outside of work hours?

Reading, playing pickleball and going on adventures with my dog Mazzy.

‍

5. What’s your go-to coffee order?

Iced matcha.

‍

6. What did you do with your bonus or extra PTO day?

I spent it doing one of the dorkiest, bravest things I’ve done in a while. I played a real-life, full-day game of Survivor, and it was insanely fun. I did not win, but I did do a backstab, and I did make it to the merge (before said backstab caught up to me and got me voted out).

‍

7. What’s your favorite Slide Nine memory?

Every time I’ve been able to spend time with my colleagues in person. And I’ve been lucky enough to do quite a bit of that this year, from Columbus to Vegas to Richmond to Orlando to Indianapolis!

‍

8. If you could spend nine days anywhere in the world, where would you travel?

Next on my list is East Asia, especially Japan and South Korea. I don’t think nine days would be enough for all of the history and culture and k-pop and food I want to see and experience!

9. Who is your favorite social media creator?

One of my favorites is Knox Hill. He’s a rapper and music reviewer. I thoroughly enjoy the way he analyzes and breaks down songs, especially rap and hip hop. He unpacks the artistry, social and cultural references, lyricism, context and skill behind artists, and in a way that entirely unlocked appreciation for a genre I knew very little about.
