Director, Corporate Communications

We’re looking for an experienced communications professional who loves their craft and is constantly searching for ways to learn and grow. Someone who knows how to tell great stories, work with journalists and the media, and proactively bring ideas — even beyond what a client asks for.

You must truly enjoy collaboration, be detail-oriented and manage your workload effectively. This role requires the ability to work quickly without cutting corners. In this role, you’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of dynamic accounts in the healthcare, manufacturing, energy and agriculture industries, as well as have an opportunity to contribute to the agency’s culture and overall success.

Previous agency experience is preferred but not required. This role is fully remote, or hybrid if in Columbus, Ohio.

We offer a competitive benefits package that includes generous paid time off, performance bonuses, retirement plan, paid family leave, comprehensive health insurance, stipends for professional development and community involvement. We want every team member to operate at their best, so we give all employees a premium Apple laptop, as well as the freedom and flexibility to work whenever and wherever they are most productive. That translates to unlimited day-to-day flexibility to adjust your schedule for doctor’s appointments, errands, mental health days and more without needing to tap into your PTO bucket.

We want you to take additional paid time off, just for yourself, throughout the year and your manager will work with you to ensure that formal PTO is baked into your plans. Employees with 1-3 years of consecutive service will have 18 days of additional PTO; employees with 3-5 years of consecutive service will have 22 days; and employees with 5 or more years of consecutive service will have unlimited PTO. The number of PTO days available during a person’s first year of employment will be negotiated during the hiring process and depend on factors including hire date, seniority, etc.
We offer health insurance through United Healthcare and we pick up the tab for 100% of employees’ premiums. Dental and vision insurance are also offered. We also offer a 401k with 5% match, profit sharing and 12 weeks of paid family leave.

Every employee has a hand in crafting their unique professional development plan, which is intentionally designed to maximize the skills and aspirations of every employee, at every level. We provide the tools and training to propel our team forward. And, last but not least, our Culture Committee brings the fun with surprising and engaging team building events that put Dunder Mifflin’s Party Planning Committee to shame.
